full trip or medium trip?

a couple of weeks ago i traveled to madrid via amsterdam on klm. their business class, while a bit outdated, was comfortable and got the job done. a long layover at schipol airport allowed a quick train trip into central amsterdam, where we discovered that a more in-depth visit was warranted. someday soon, i hope.
